Halal safaris in Uganda

Discover Uganda's wild beauty through a journey planned around your faith, your comfort and your sense of adventure.

A safari designed around your values

Six things we arrange in advance for every journey.

Halal dining

Halal meals arranged in advance at every lodge and packed for long days in the field. Where a property cannot accommodate it, we tell you before you book.

Prayer-conscious planning

Game drives, transfers and briefings are scheduled around prayer times. Mats and a qibla compass travel with the vehicle, and we plan suitable stops on long drives.

Accommodation chosen with care

Selected on location, comfort, privacy and suitability for Muslim families — not on a certification we cannot verify.

Privacy and space

Private vehicles and private guiding as standard, with family-focused arrangements and quieter properties where you ask for them.

Guides who understand

Briefed on prayer timing, dining, pace and privacy before your journey begins, so you are not explaining yourself on day one.

A pace that suits you

Itineraries built for how your family actually travels — with elders, with young children, or with nowhere in particular to be.

Planning your safari

The questions we're asked most often, answered plainly.

We confirm halal meal arrangements with each lodge before you book, and carry packed halal meals on long game-drive days. Where a property cannot accommodate the request, we say so before you commit rather than after.

Fajr is prayed at the lodge before you leave. Prayer mats and a qibla compass travel in the vehicle, and your guide plans stops for Dhuhr and Asr into the day's route.

Yes. Every Daaru Sa’aadah safari uses a private 4x4 vehicle and guide unless you specifically ask to join a group departure.

June to September and December to February are the drier months, with easier tracks and animals concentrated near water. The green seasons are quieter, greener and better for birds.

Seven to ten days allows a comfortable circuit of two or three parks. Five days works for a focused route. Fewer than four and you will spend more time on the road than in the parks.

Yes, from Entebbe International Airport as standard on every itinerary.

Often, yes — some parks and activities more easily than others. Tell us at the enquiry stage and we will be straightforward about what will and will not work.
